At Imperial Christina Dental Care, we want to provide you and your family with excellent dental care, and that wouldn’t be possible without our knowledgeable and experienced dental team. Through years of extensive training and hands-on experience, our staff is highly-qualified and has seen just about everything. We also aim to provide friendly, personable care, because that’s how we would want ourselves and our families to be treated. We can’t wait to meet you in person!
Marc J. Rasmussen DMD
Dr. Marc Rasmussen was born and raised in Tampa, FL, to a family of dentists. His parents, three siblings, and every single one of their significant others are dentists. Dr. Rasmussen earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, where he was involved in dental research at Shand’s Hospital. He earned his DMD from Nova Southeastern University, where he met his wife, Dr. Mona. After dental school, he practiced for a number of years in North Carolina, during which time he earned his IV sedation certification from the Aristotle Institute. He has extensive clinical experience in implant placement, wisdom teeth extractions, root canal therapy, and Invisalign.
Dr. Rasmussen and Dr. Mona decided to move back to Florida to be closer to family, and Imperial Christina Dental Care was founded in 2020. Later that year, our team was so honored to have been voted one of the top 5 dental offices in Central Florida by the Lakeland Ledger. Outside the office, Dr. Rasmussen and Dr. Mona have dedicated much of their time to mission work, and they also love spending time with friends, family, and their dog, Aston.
